BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — The Birmingham Police Department said it is actively addressing reports circulating on social media about a black sedan involved in shootings on the east side of the city.
In a social media post Tuesday, the department said it is aware of images alleging the sedan is firing at individuals.

The police thanked the public for reaching out through phone calls and messages on social media platforms.
“Always keep in mind that the safety and protection of our community are our top priority,” the department said.
