Anchor
Ashley joined the KOLD team in June 2023 and is the main anchor of our Fox 11 newscasts.
She comes into the Tucson community from the Deep South where she was the weekend anchor and reporter for WSFA 12 News in Montgomery, Alabama.
During her time in Montgomery, she covered a wide range of stories, from the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic to deadly tornadoes, and Presidential visits.
Ashley is from San Antonio, Texas, and is the youngest of four children. She has always had a passion for storytelling, even from a young age.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a degree in Electronic Media and minor in Mass Communication.
In school, she was the Assistant News Director for KTSW 89.9 – the FM radio station on campus and a reporter/anchor for Bobcat Update – the student-run newscast. She was also a member of the Texas State Strutters, a collegiate dance team. Her last year in school she received the Electronic Media student of the year award.
When she isn’t reporting the news, she enjoys spending time with family, playing with her dog “Winnie,” and eating lots of Mexican food.
