What’s open and closed in Hawaii for Thanksgiving, Black Friday

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Getting ready to continue your holiday shopping this week? As Thanksgiving and Black Friday close in, here are the holiday hours for malls and retailers around Hawaii.

All malls will be closed on Thanksgiving Day except for Kahala Mall, where select stores will be open.

Don Quijote locations will be open but hours vary: Kaheka closes at 7 p.m., Pearl City is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Waipahu closes at 6 p.m.

Anna Millers will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pies.

MADD warns of impaired driving as ‘Blackout Wednesday,’ Thanksgiving nears

City and County offices on Maui, Kauai, Big Island and Honolulu will be closed. Maui County pools, landfills, recycling centers and the Office of Recovery will also be closed on Thanksgiving.

All City and County operations for each island will resume their regular schedules on Friday, Nov. 29.

Series you need to stream this weekend: Thanksgiving edition

On Black Friday, special hours have been put in place for major retailers. Both Target and Walmart will open their doors to early bird Black Friday shoppers at 6 a.m.

If you plan to hit up TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Pet Smart during your shopping run, doors for all locations will open at 7 a.m.

For those looking to shop at home improvement stores Home Depot and Lowes, locations will open at 6 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.

Top 10 movies to enjoy with your family today

Wholesale giants Costco and Sam’s Club will be closed on Thanksgiving, but members can expect them to open on Friday during their regular hours.

Early bird shoppers looking to flood Oahu Malls on Friday should head to either Waikele Premium Outlets from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. or Ka Makana Alii from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Ala Moana Center and Kahala Mall will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pearlridge Center will open at 9 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
