SOUTH PORTLAND – South Portland Police say they have identified suspects in Wednesday’s shooting near Kobe Steakhouse.

Police say they have probable cause to charge two individuals and are asking for the public’s help in locating them.

Jonathan Hanson, in the photo on the left, and Navinn Ean, right, are wanted by South Portland police for their alleged connection to a Dec. 18 shooting. (South Portland Police Department)

Navinn Ean, 21, of Westbrook, is wanted for reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and driving to endanger, according to police.

Ean is also wanted on three counts of violating conditions of release, due to being released on three sets of bail conditions from previous arrests, all of which have the provision of not engaging in new criminal conduct and not to use nor possess firearms, according to police.

Jonathan Hanson, 21, of Buxton is wanted for reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal mischief and terrorizing, according to police.

Police say they are looking for Ean’s 2018 Dodge Charger with Maine Black Bear license plate number SRT74.

“If you see these subjects or this vehicle, please do not approach them,” police stated. “Instead, call your local law enforcement agency or 911.”

Shortly before 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 18, police learned of a possible shooting outside Kobe Steakhouse at the intersection of Gorham Road and Western Avenue.

“Responding officers learned that an altercation had broken out inside of the restaurant between two sets of individuals,” police stated. “The altercation moved from inside of the restaurant to the parking lot, where a suspect from one group displayed and threatened individuals in the other group with a handgun.

“The victims were able to flee in a vehicle, however they were followed by the suspect in a separate vehicle. When both vehicles reached the intersection of Gorham Road and Western Avenue, the suspect fired the gun in the direction of the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was struck by gunfire, and the suspects fled onto Western Avenue. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.”
