NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made a statement after JAY-Z named Accusing the Brooklyn billionaire of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl with Diddy in 2000.
“We’re aware of the allegations and Jay-Z’s tough response to it, and we know the trial is happening now, so from our perspective, our relationship with them is not changing, including preparations for the next Super Bowl,” he said. “I think they’re incredibly comfortable not only with the Super Bowl, but with other events that they’ve advised us on and helped us with.”
JAY-Z released the statement after the lawsuit was filed Dec. 8 in a New York courtroom, accusing attorney Tony Buzby of trying to extort money from his client if a financial settlement is reached.
