Users of the platform will be prohibited from booking stays of one to three nights, and guests booking an entire house will be required to agree not to use the house for party purposes.
According to Airbnb, in 2023 the platform blocked 74,000 high-risk bookings, of which 33,000 were from the United States.
The company’s anti-party stance began in 2019, and the following year it added additional restrictions due to the pandemic.

Airbnb has been criticized in recent years for its negative impact on America’s housing crisis, but perhaps the company’s more pressing issue is the perception that the service was once offered as a budget alternative to hotels. no longer serves that purpose.
