The new audit from the University of Alabama has found that HBCU has many non-fulfillment problems.
Audit looked at school accounts from 2019 to 2022. In 2023, the school was violated Seven areas Compliance as confirmed ThrowA number
The Department of Public Account Consultants discovered that HBCU did not correctly enter the employee’s salary in its system. Error led to the employee of thousands of dollars.
The issue of employees who started working on HBCU on March 2022, receiving a wrong way to rent. The document had an earlier finish date than due to conditioned. As a result, the person received more funds during the work. However, the form was consistently approved by the university system, falling through the cracks until this last audit.
“The form has been approved on eight different occasions with seven different institutions. Based on the rent, the employee’s annual salary was entered in the accounting system, paid in 12 months instead of 7228.26.
Another remarkable non-matching area occurred inside Alabama Atlic Department A & M. The investigators’ office found out that the school “does not provide accountability” for all tickets published and sold.
It added.
The school has been corrected since the issue has been the case, ensuring all tickets for cash. However, the school still needs to solve many violations, including non-fulfillment of student accounts receivable. The audit also found that the school lacks the Bank’s reconciliation policy, proposing that Alabama A and M take steps to quickly establish these procedures quickly.
The school research station also bypassed its purchase process, while the magazine’s records did not follow the proper review and approval procedure.
