Stefan Kouri, a Golden State Fighters, has taken an administrative role in his Alma Mother, Davidson College, making him the first active professional athlete to take a business position with college.
Davidson College proclaim This curry, along with another aluminum, Matt Berman, will serve as a general managers’ assistant to Davidson’s basketball team. They also stated that the two men set up a Curry-Berman Fund’s initiative, eight figures fund for supporting men’s and women’s basketball programs. The foundation has been created to help the program to help Davidson’s shares with players.
“Davidon’s experience is at a high level,” Curry said in a written statement. “My journey, when I reached Davidson in 2006, to show that I had the opportunity to play basketball at the highest level, I received a wonderful education through Davidson graduate. I want to have a very talented, high character student athletes to have that same experience. “
Curry said that Davidson’s athletes would be able to compete with other colleges and universities, which refund students for their name, image and similar use.
Berman played football for three years and has property share in the Burnley FC of the English Football Club. He hopes that the foundation will support the college community.
Davidson College President Dugh Hicks greeted the introduction of former student-athletes.
“Providing one of the best sports programs in the country for Davidson is an integral part of our identity as one of the best Liberal Art College of the Nation,” said Hicks. “CURRYS and BERMANS have provided an extraordinary gift, and they will give their time and experience to ensure that we can continue to be unnoticed educational experience for our educational-athletes and all our college.”
Curry about three years ago earned His bachelor’s degree in Davitson’s sociology, and he became the first person in the history of the school that his number retired at school. He was also official Davitson College in the Hall of Fame.
