The graduate of the Black Harvard has created the final family compound built for generations in Houston.

Reggie Van Lin inherited the land from his grandmother, which bought the plot of land in 1899.

The former dancer of the former executive executive of Alvin Ayili and the current Houston’s advice wants to provide many goals. Thanks to 20,000 square feet, property has unusual facilities such as a beauty salon, chapel and helicopter folder. He wanted to serve all members of his family, not only in his immediate unit.

“I built this house not only for my immediate family, but for my extended family, including friends,” full of explained Fox 26:

Van Lee wanted to keep the land in his family, whose three sisters and brothers currently live in the residence. However, things never feel too tangled, spaced enough space.

“The house is big enough, so when you really want to be on your own, you can,” he said. “When you want to be with others, you can also. Family dinners together, family dinners together. It’s just amazing. “

He hopes to inspire other black people to keep their country, while promoting the benefits of a multi-faceted livelihood. Not only does it allow relatives to stay close, but the support of the stimulus economy.

He added: “At the end of the day, everything we really have is the family. Too many people, particularly black people, have refused a family country. “

With a wonderful family room, Van Lee has been able to host gatherings and milestones in order to enjoy everyone. He recently hosted his 77-year-old sister’s wedding, which held 300 guests comfortable. They also held a 125th anniversary party when his ancestor was the first to buy the country.

Van Lee hopes for the will of the house Stay inside their family for generations. However, he has other provisions if they try to sell in the future. The house will go to the historical company of Texas as a donation if no one wants to live there. He wants the building to testify to the black family compounds.

“I want a lot to stay in the family for this country and this house. My will says that if he does not live in the house, the house actually goes to the historic society of Texas. It will not be a situation when Uncle Regience dies, they sell everything and divide the money, “said Lord.

“Especially at these times, when there are so many people against us, because people and people oppose themselves, I think families should be that families should be that message.”
