Winners Of 2025 AAFCA Awards Announced

Leading list of “Paradise” and “Eternal” winners.


African American Film Critics Association (:AAFCA) announced the names and television exhibitions of 2025 awards of AAFCA TV, including the top ten television.

On August 23, the 7th annual awards of AAFCA Television will take place at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. AAFCA considers itself the largest team of black film critics. The organization was founded in 2003 to raise various prospects when they create space for alleged votes in the media.

“Don’t miss the winning plans and performances and the top 10 TV shows of AAFCA,” said Gill Roberto, chairman of the AAA. “We look forward to celebrating the Year of the Feast for Television, our winners and the top 10 lists, which reflect the powerful resonance of unquestionated creativity and a strong resonance of a variety of short stories on all platforms.

The announcement included the names of the special achievement selected by the honorary commission of AAFCA. Selected people present the crossroads of the leaders and visions, “leaving an indelible effect on television and streaming platforms.”

  • Nose Le Gone, President, Sony Pictures Television – TV Vanguard Award
  • Yes Davis, President, Branded Disney TV – Greeting Prize Prize
  • Tina Fairy, President, Own Television – Vision Award
  • Mara Brock AkilManufacturer / Scenario Author – Legacy Award:
  • Michelle Buteau, Actress / Comedian – TrailBlazer Award:
  • Non-Wad Onuora, Producer / District – 2025 Horizon Award
  • Denise Nicholas – 2025 TV icon award

The list of winners who voted by AAFCA membership is listed below.

  • Best Drama – “Paradise” (Hulu)
  • Best Comedy – “Harlem” (Amazon Prime)
  • Best Actor – Sterling K. Brown, “HULU”
  • Best Actress – Katie Bates, “Matlock” (CBS)
  • Best writing: Forever “(Netflix)
  • Best Director: Anthony Hemingway, Diocese Banks, Mara Brock Aquil and Regina King, “Forever” (Netflix)
  • Breaking Talent – Skye P. Marshall, “Matlock” (CBS)
  • Best Documentary – “On the No. One Call” (Apple TV +)
  • Best Reality – “Gen Zone” (Bet +)
  • Best Limited Series – “Great Cigar” (Apple Tv +)
  • The best TV movie.
  • Best Ensemble – “Bel-Air” (Peacock)

  9. “Chi” (with Paramount + Showtime)
  10. “ABBOTT ELEMENTARY” (ABC)
