He said he managed to escape and ran to a gas station where he called his father.
“I was upset, and the guy at the gas station could tell I was obviously upset, and he let me use the phone. I called my dad because he was the only person I trusted at the time. I told him I messed up, and i need to go home. We went home in silence. He didn’t ask me what happened. He didn’t ask me what I did, where I was.”
He continued. “Honestly, what happened to me and (the) route I took to what happened to me is not that clear. So I may have made some mistakes. that I had misidentified. I didn’t know exactly where we were going or even how long it took.”
Carter called the claims in the lawsuit “ridiculous” and “abhorrent in nature.”
