Isaiah Meadows said he was fired for drawing attention to problems plaguing schools.
Supreme Court Justice Christopher K. Louis has granted Isaiah Meadows a default judgment in his wrongful termination lawsuit against Kanye “Ye” West’s Christian school, Donda Academy LLC. Complex reports.

Meadows said he was fired in retaliation for bringing awareness to the problems plaguing the school, including water seepage on the facility’s floors.
In 2020, Meadows moved to Los Angeles to work in academia. He was offered a salary of $165,000 and paid for an expensive residence in the Calabasas area.
According to Meadows’ lawsuit, Ye paid for the apartments for 3 months before the payment stopped. The former employee said that after he informed the school about his health problems, he was demoted and his salary was significantly reduced.
Yeh’s lawyers filed a motion in court denying the allegations.
Because Ye did not appear or retain an attorney, all statements made on Ye’s behalf in the case have been expunged from the legal record.
Ye’s legal problems continue. Many former educators at the private Christian school, including Trevor Phillips, filed a lawsuit against the hip-hop impresario on April 4. alleging Yeh had demonstrated a pattern of discrimination against black employees.
In the document, Phillips claims Yeh compared him to Hitler “minus the gas chambers” and appeared to mimic the gesture during a one-on-one meeting at a Southern California hotel, NBC reported.
Phillips also alleged that Kanye was aggressive and hostile toward black employees but spoke respectfully to white employees.The case will be filed in April 2025.
