Now Williams will be allowed back to his home in Atlanta Initially, the “Lifestyle” rapper was banned from metro Atlanta for the next 15 years if he hosted anti-drug, gang or anti-violence summits with community youth.
Trial modification posted by X Thuggerday:states the terms of his return after three years of probation without violation;
“Mr. Williams may then visit his home at the city address provided under seal and at the special address assigned to the probationer, up to two weeks each, up to four times a year, non-consecutively ahead.”
The Atlanta rapper pleaded guilty to multiple charges in Fulton County Court on October 31. The charges included possession of a firearm and participation in a criminal street gang. BLACK ENTERPRISE.
The no-negotiated plea allowed Fulton County Judge Paige Reese Whitaker to impose the sentence, as opposed to plea negotiations with Fulton County prosecutors.
Judge Whitaker’s decision allowed Williams to be released from prison under what some would call extreme conditions was subjected to 4 decades of probation. If Tug had followed the terms of his probation for the first 15 years without a violation, the remaining 25 years would have been suspended.
“The total sentence is 40 years, with the first five years served in prison, but substituted for time you’ve already served,” Whittaker said.
Judge Whitaker expressed hope that Williams would be able to successfully complete his probation and give back to the Atlanta community, and warned the rapper of the consequences of failure.
“I want you to be more of a solution and less of a problem,” Whitaker continued. “Good luck to you. It’s better if there are no violations, but if there are, you’re coming back to see me.”
Hopefully, with the probation modification, the young Thug will have a better chance of success.
