Al Green Kicked Out Of Congressional Chamber For Protesting Trump During Presidential Address

President Donald TrumpThe speech before a joint congress session on Tuesday night was an unpleasant and controversial thing, with the president who used the opportunity to attack his opponents and push his agenda while Democrats showed his opposition. The Democratic Representative of Texas, in the Green, was expelled from the speech on his protests against the President.

Rece. Green expelled to call Trump about “mandate”, social programs

A few minutes from Trump who began his speech, Democrats in the public stated their claims that he won the popular vote in the 2024 election for “great issues”, with the Republicans who sang “USA” to try to drown his companions, The Washington Post reported. In the midst of the scene, Green was raised, pointed out his cane to the President, and shouted that he had no “mandate” for cutting medicaid, according to Trump. House spokesman Mike Johnson issued a warning and told Green to set himself in his place, threatening to ask the sergeant to the weapons to “restore order”. But Green remained standing and continued to shout before Johnson instructed the sergeant in his arms: “Remove this gentleman from the chamber!”

Green later explained that he was not worried about possible calls to censor him for his protest.

Said: “It’s worth doing -people There are some of us They will be against this President’s desire to cut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. “

Green has been a Trump critic for a long time, asking the President deterioration During his first term of office Last month.

His protest was part of the acts of challenge performed by the Democrats towards the President’s speech. Political He reported that many of the Congressional Democratic members contained signs with messages, including criticisms such as “false” and “musc robberies”, as well as “protect veterans” and “save medicaid”.

Trump pushes the divisive agenda

The anger of Democrats against Trump showed his opposition to his agenda and what he said in his speech. According to CnnTrump took the opportunity to repeatedly insult the former President Joe Biden and to celebrate the attacks Trump has made against government programs and diversity. Trump boasted that he had finished “the tyranny of so -called policies of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the federal government and, in fact, the private sector and our military”, and boasted of eliminating “the poison of critical race theory”. Trump also criticized Stacey Abrams, a long time republican goal, and celebrated its cancellation foreign aidMrocked countries like the African nations of Lesoto and Mozambique and “Colombian Afro empowerment in Central America”.

Democrats were notably Trump and his positions, and his vocal screens show an increasingly fierce supporter divide In Washington. In recent years, Republican representatives Joe Wilson of South Carolina and Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia have called on Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, respectively, accusing them of being liars during their speeches. None of the Republican members of Congress was withdrawn or censored by his outburst.

Say what you want about President Biden, but he got a lot during his speeches, but it was not so much a fragile snowflake to expel anyone.

But Trumplethinskin had kicked off the Green.
Both for “freedom of expression”.

Now, however, Republicans seem to demand that Democrats show them the respect that the GOP has refused to give democratic leaders in the past. Trump, at a time of his speech, told the audience’s Democrats: “I realize that there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or make them put them or smile or applaud.” Given his right -wing agenda and the efforts of Democrats to go back, Trump is probably right not to wait for the other side of the aisle to applaud soon.
