Elon Musk Appears To Amplify Call To Pardon Derek Chauvin, Who Was Convicted Of Killing George Floyd; Backlash Ensues

Shapiro said Chauvin was “unfairly convicted”

Shapiro shared the formal request to the Conservative Media The Daily Wire, which he co -founded, claiming that Chauvin received unfair treatment after the slaughter.

“We write to urge you to immediately emit a forgiveness for Officer Derek Chauvin, who was unfairly convicted and currently has a 22 and a half sentence for the murder of George Floyd and the associated federal accusations,” The Ben Shapiro Show The host wrote in his letter to Trump, according to The hill.

“As you know, this was the event to incite the BLM riots that caused $ 2 billion in property damage to the cities of the United States, and established the race relations of America in their worst position in recent memory,” said Shapiro.

Shapiro continued, claiming that Chauvin did not kill Floyd and died from an overdose of Fentanyl. Conservative Media Pundit also answered the circulated video showing Chauvin kneeling on the Floyd pass. He stated that Chauvin was mistakenly targeted and did not receive a fair trial.

“Perhaps the most significant, there was a massive pressure on the jury to return a guilt verdict, regardless of the evidence or any resemblance to impartial deliberation. This pressure took the form of threats, coercion and intimidation,” said Shapiro.

Chauvin is fulfilling federal and state charges

He also said that the then President Joe Biden and other politicians “previously judged the result of the trial and led to the national media to create pressure on the jury to continue with their favorite story.”

On April 20, 2021 Chauvin was found guilty Involuntary murder of the second degree, third grade assassination and second degree slaughter. He was ordered to comply with a 20-25 years of conviction in federal prison for violating Civil Rights of Floydwhich had to be fulfilled simultaneously with the more than 20 sentences he received in his sentence to the State.

In the video, Shapiro said to forgive the ex-COP federal positions would be “incredibly controversial, but I think it is absolutely necessary.”
