Mercedes Moné Is On Wrestling’s Renaissance World Tour

Mercedes Moné has a mission to cease her case as the largest female fighter of all time, and refers to another goat of the process.

Last year’s AW Big Business at Boston’s TD Garden marked Moné’s debut at The whole elite struggle (AEW), a six -year promotion that revolutionized the struggle industry and is classified by Forbes as the third most valuable fighter sports organization in the world. Moné before was known as WWE Sasha Bankswhere she was six times world champion and became the first black woman (next to Bianca Belair) In WrestleMania of the main event. Beside her struggle hits, Moné cut a lane for herself in the television world, landing the role of Koska Reeves in Disney+ Star Wars series, The mandalià.

He shocked the world when he left the WWE in 2022 and traded in his “signs” rings that were synonymous with Sasha Banks’ character and became Mercedes Moné, the CEO of Women’s Wrestling, this time holding all the rights to his name, image and similarity. The next important step would be to take a world tour to start the next chapter of his career.

Aew Moné’s choice, as his new house was a daring game change for the struggle industry. He made clear his intentions in the great business he chose AEW because it was the only place to start a “global revolution” for the female struggle.

How has Mercedes Moné’s game changed for the female struggle?

It has been a little more than a year and all the risks that Moné assumed have paid off. She became the most paid woman in the story of the struggle and closed in 2024 with one of the most acclaimed runs of her decorated career. He successfully defended the AEW TBS Championship and the NJPW women’s championship in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, with four of these defenses that disembarked in the first six female games of Sports Illustrated on the 2024 list (including number one).

He brought this impulse to the Wrestle Dynasty of January 5, a supershow of promotional promotion in the historic tokyo dome with the best promotions in Japan, Mexico and the United States. Women fighting in the dome of Tokyo are already a rarity, but the dynasty struggling has marked the first time since 1994 that black women would fight in the historic precinct.

The Japanese female struggle style “Joshi” is widely regarded as one of the best pure struggles in the world. Joshi’s struggle has a great emphasis on technique and resistance. It is rare that foreigners adapt to such a high style of struggle, but Moné has been rare throughout his career.

Moné confronted Mina Shirakawa in Wrestle Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome and successfully captured the reviro British British Women Championship, adding two new belts to the two he already had. Moné has evolved from a trailblazer to the CEO of Women’s Wrestling, at the same time holding great titles in America, Japan and England. In order not to forget, she is the only woman to fight the Madison Square Garden, at the Wembley stadium and the dome of Tokyo. During his dominant reign as “4beltzmoné”, women fighters around the world have been found in the biggest parties of their career, only putting in the ring, who many believe that is the most influential female fighter of the 21st century.

Why do Mercedes Moné and Beyoncé compare?

In terms of music, this diversified level of domain seems familiar, right? As the winner of the most decorated Grammy Award of all time, Beyoncé has been awarded in R&B genres, rap, pop, dance, electronics and now a country. He made history in February as the first solo black woman to win the Grammy for the best Best Country album. A little more than a month before that, he gave an innovative program of the NFL half an hour on Christmas day in his hometown of Houston, Texas, paying tribute to the culture of Black Rodeo and platform other black artists who made waves in country music such as Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts.

“Genres are a fun concept, right? Cowboy Carter “Spaghettii”. In the pinnacle of all media, whether music or professional struggle, there will be leaders who are not only excellent in their trade, but also visionaries who understand that being “goat” requires pushing the envelope and doing things that had never been done before.

Many of the colleagues of Moné have referred to her as a “Beyoncé de la Fight” because of her story of establishing struggle tendencies and conquering various styles and regions of sport. Another cause of comparison is its sense of fashion. During his time in AEW, Moné has recreated several of Beyoncé’s most iconic looks at Ring, many of which came from the 2023 Renaissance world tour. In a recent appearance in the Sherri Show, he also paid tribute to the personalized dress of Alexander Mcqueen de Beyoncé of the Live Action premiere The lion king.

In the coming weeks, Moné will defend the four titles in both the State and abroad as Beyoncé begins his long -awaited World Vaquer Carter tour. The two women are actively receding against what is considered popular or traditional in their fields, and instead, they choose to breach their own paths that many young fighters and artists will continue in the coming years. The CEO and Queen continue to write new chapters of their formidable legacies every day and, despite what they have already achieved, they have just begun.
