PHI Beta Sigma Fratenity has released, Inc. A strong condemnation in response to the National Republic Committee (NRCC) that has now been deleted and falsely referred to MP Adriano Espayla, a member of the American House of Representatives and Cox’s President in Congress, as illegal governor.
The Republican Party campaign was quietly removed this position after a violent reaction, but political organizations and leaders – including Phi Beta Sigma, which, Espaillat is a proud member– Make clear that the simple deletion is not enough.
In an official statement signed by the international president of the brothers Chris Rey, Dano, and the international director of the social work process, Malawan A. Johnson, Fai Beta Segma denounced the attack as a “evil and unfounded effort” to discredit his brother Espayel.
“That is, a claim that” an illegal immigrant “is not just a blatant false but also a deliberate attempt to discredit his fixed service to the American people,” the brothers mentioned. “Brother Espaillat embodies the basic values of our brothers – the brother, scholarships and service – and devoted his life to raising societies and fighting for justice.”
The leadership of Phi Beta Sigma also frame the attack as part of a larger issue of wrong information and fear of foreigners in politics, and urged its members to mobilize, motivated and confirm their presence in political places at all levels.
“In times of political turmoil, the invitation is not an option – it is a necessity,” the statement continued. “We must rise to this occasion, to fill our voices, and confirm our presence in every area where decisions are made. Whether in the meetings of the school board of directors, city halls, provincial councils, or legislative bodies of the state, we must stand firmly and make our voices heard.”
The brothers explained that her position exceeds this individual accident. Phi Beta Sigma “rejects all forms of foreigners’ phobia and wrong information” and reaffirmed its commitment to inclusion, justice and progress – the expenses that led the organization since its foundation in 1914.
The statement concluded that “Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, INC. stands in unbroken solidarity with Brother Espaillat.
The gatherings of Spanish origin in Congress, which I Splasate chairs, spoke against the attack, saying that the calm deletion was not sufficient. In a post on X (previously Twitter), the party demanded a decline and a general apology from NRCC, rather than trying to erase the post without approval.
