Girl Scouts Sued Over Heavy Metals & Pesticides In Its Cookies

Every year US Girl Scouts Apply to loved ones and fundraising strategies to sell millions of cookies. From lean mint to Samoas, sweet attitude has become a household. A New York woman is now judging the organization, citing the study that the cookies claim to contain heavy metals and herbicides.

Breakdown of Girl Scouts Cookies

The woman caused her lawsuit about the girl’s scout cookies, on Monday, March 10, under the name Amy Mayo. Mayo accuses defendants in producing and selling polluted food items. He claims that they block the arsenic, aluminum, lead, mercury and cadmium, such as arsenic. In addition, the lawsuit is the presence of pesticides such as glycosate.

The lawsuit later claims that the organization uses children at least $ 1 billion worth of dessert. It is unclear whether Amy has met with the girl’s scout cookies that lead to a disease, or if his lawsuit is based on the study.

The organization insisted that His baking partners do not add heavy metals to his sweet attitudes. “Before such phenomena are unique for the girl’s scouting cookies, our trusted baking partners continue to ensure the integrity of our recipes and the security of the tray of all the Garden and the World Food Initiative. Standards: Our bakery confirmed that the reported levels do not cause food safety to our customers. ”
