Saturday, December 14 TMZ published an exclusive report claiming that Fox celebrated his 57th birthday with dinner at Mr. Chow’s on Friday, December 13. The paper also reported that Fox was “allegedly involved in a fight” at the Beverly Hills establishment.
According to the source, Foxx had left the location before police arrived.In addition, initial details of what exactly went down remained vague.
However, Foxx’s spokesperson released a statement to the outlet about the alleged incident later in the evening.
“Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police was called, and the case is now in the hands of law enforcement officers,” the message said.
