Paul Wall becomes real when he learns about his race
Paul Wall recently went on “The Breakfast Club” and revealed that he didn’t realize he was white until white people started telling him he was white. “White, why do you talk and act like that?” and it always left him confused.
The Texas native said the moment hit him when he was young, probably in elementary or middle school. Paul explained that he grew up in a super “diverse” neighborhood in Houston, Texas, surrounded by black, Asian and Hispanic people.
He then joked with Charlamagne Tha God that he went home and “cryed at his mom for not telling him he was white.” Paul laughed with the morning crew and shared that his mom took a DNA test , which revealed that he is “3% black.” The “Sittin’ Sidewayz” rapper went on to say that while his mother has been tested, he has not yet taken it to officially find out about his ancestry.
