According to Local Memphis, earlier this week, GloRilla made a $25,000 donation to its alma mater, Melrose High School, which the paper reports will “go toward improving educational resources at the school.”
More specifically, a new library space will be created that will allow students to “use technology that enhances their learning in a safe space for learning with flexible seating.” Additionally, the space will reportedly be renamed The Gloria H. Woods Media Center.
Glo was reportedly at the school when the announcement was made on Wednesday, December 18. Scroll down to see her appearance and see a preliminary photo of Glo from the school’s yearbook.
Afterwards, the rapper also shared a throwback photo of his student days at Melrose on social media.
