“Rural health is a passion for mine,” said Bandstra.
The program helps a doctor’s assistant students gain experience in the event of a career in Maine.

“It is a phenomenal opportunity for us to hire it for the time when they graduated.”
The goal is to expand Maine’s health workforce.
“Patients really include a more serious provider that looks like and resembling them,” Wilson said.
As part of the program, there are between 10 and 15 students expected to complete three clinical returns between 10 and 15.
“The idea is that we will have a pipeline to new providers who are in the village and ready to work in our agriculture,” he said.
Bandstra hopes to inspire others to start the leashet and the spear of the pipeline.
“Leap and do it,” said Bandstra.
