New Norfolk State coach Michael Vick began to explain why he decided to pursue the profession despite his lack of experience.
During the NFL pregame show on FOX on Sunday, NSU recruit Vick detailed Friday’s motivation and what it was. now it means being an HBCU football coach in his hometown.
“When you get a chance to lead young people in your community, where I grew up watching this team … I got what I needed.”

“When you get a chance to lead young people in your community, which is where I grew up watching this team,” Vick said. “I got what I needed.”
Vick will be officially introduced as the head coach at Norfolk State on Monday at a press conference at 10:00 a.m. EST.
