What is the biggest thing you learned as SGA president so far?
The biggest thing you learned as SGA president is the importance of your community. Although the headlines and attitudes are important, what matters most to the people who serve them side by side and the effect they create together. Strong individuals are needed to start movements, but real change occurs with teamwork and numbers.
What made you decide to join North Carolina State University for university students?
I initially chose to attend NCA & T because I was blessed with a full course as the prestigious Luis and Elizabeth Dodi researcher. However, what really strengthened my decision is to learn about A&T Four and its impact on the civil rights movement. As an enthusiastic person for civil rights, following the footsteps of such passengers was an opportunity that I could not resist. Standing on the shoulders of the giants and carrying their heritage of change is a privilege that I deeply cherish. While financial support transferred me to A&T, its rich history is what made me fall in love.
How did North Carolina State A&T divide you into the person you are today?
North Carolina A&T played a pivotal role in forming me in the leader – and most importantly that individual – I am today. I challenged me to embrace adversity, set ambitious goals, and persevere through obstacles. Through opportunities such as I started to separate alpha kappa alpha Sorority, Inc. During my first year, which has served in the student’s government over four years, and securing internal training through the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, A&T provided me with platforms for leadership, inspiration and service. Whether through traditional leadership roles, such as SGA, or honoring a legacy by nominating the status of flowers, or engaging in the organization of the campus, A&T has been constantly enabled to make an effect.

What are the specific initiatives that you went to this year (or planning), and how do you think it will improve the school and the surrounding community?
More importantly, initiatives, administrations, change management, enhance an area of cooperation and integration. We want to create a university campus culture, where all students feel welcomed and appreciated, highlighting their responsibilities both civil and social. This year, A&T dealt with the electoral session directly by enhancing civil participation, registration of voters and political education-the skills necessary to push our position in society. We have also prepared a priority to highlight the spirit of entrepreneurship to enhance financial freedom by creating opportunities to participate in the development of student business. As leaders of students, we strive to serve as an example and defend alongside the rest of AGGIES to make the change we want to see.
How does your SGA management/school currently attend the mental health of students?
In addition to the mental health days integrated into our academic calendar, NCA & T works to add an absence of mental health, learn about students ’challenges and the importance of well -being. Our goal is to ensure that students can spend a personal day when needed – without a stigma or punishment. We also offer resources like Safezone for campus safety, mental health support and Towerall, a peer support platform for communication and guidance. NCA & T is still committed to giving priority to mental health and promoting supportive campus culture.

What does driving mean to you?
Driving is not defined by a title – it is displayed through procedures and behavior. The real leadership exceeds the position of position; It requires a really change in every corner. You can lead from the front by determining the vision, from the back by enabling others, or from the side by providing support and cooperation. In essence, leadership revolves around strategic thinking and solving creative problems, and most importantly listening. The great leader understands the needs of others, inflates the voices that are often unknown, and preachers of those who cannot defend themselves. Driving is not related to power, but rather to influence, service, and inspiration for others to make a change together.
We are now living in a digital world, what do you think of schools that you should do to represent themselves online in 2025?
With the continued growth of social media and the creation of content becomes more influential, universities must adapt to the digital age by supporting student creators and presenting the life of the campus in an original way. Digital stories and social media novel constitute general awareness, with current and potential students at the center. Schools must invest in strategies that amplify students votes online and cooperate with those who follow the creation of content. By taking advantage of platforms such as Tiktok, Instagram and YouTube, universities can effectively highlight the culture of campus and academics and the influence of society, and reach the masses in a more attractive and relationship.

Why do you think watching the courtyard is important for black students and the culture of the kidney?
Watch As us, HBCU students and African Americans, we are often ignored or palm by the main media, making it important to have spaces that really reflect the excellence, leadership and achievements. The square shows the achievements of HBCU students, but also enhances the feeling of loneliness and pride within our society. By providing a national platform, it ensures that hard work, innovation and flexibility of HBCU students are recognized and celebrated on a larger scale. I can see the commitment of the annihilation to raise our voices and highlight the lights due on our positive impact.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I will work full time in Cisco Systems in Atlanta, GA office.
