What are the specific initiatives that you went to this year (or planning), and how do you think it will improve the school and the surrounding community?
This year, it has led many major initiatives aimed at enhancing the experience of graduate student and enhancing the relationship between graduate societies and university students at the Southern University.
Providing scholarships for graduate students – I have worked to secure funding opportunities directly that support graduate students directly, ensuring access to the financial resources needed for success.
Planning a scholarship ball – to enhance this task, I organize a grant ball aimed at collecting funds for graduate students, enhancing charitable business culture, and increasing the availability of scholarships.
Enhancing relations with the university community – It has given priority to strengthening ties between university students and the College of Graduate Studies to encourage the Southern University as an option, the first of which is for continuous education. This initiative guarantees a smooth transition to students who want to follow advanced certificates.
The brand renamination initiative for the Association of Graduate Studies and the Graduate School – with the support of advisers and deanships, has led strategic efforts to restore the brand to enhance the vision, participation and comprehensive identity of the Supreme Student Association and the College of Graduate Studies. This initiative aims to update the student’s experience and enhance our impact on campus.
Each of these initiatives contributes to the growth of the university and the success of students and the surrounding community by enhancing opportunities, financial support and an academic environment more associated.

How does your SGA management/school currently attend the mental health of students?
Our GSA administration actively works to meet the mental health needs of students through a variety of initiatives. We have held events that focus on mental health awareness, stress management, and self -care, with planning also for additional programming to provide continuous support to students.
In addition, we are cooperating with the Association of University Student Government and the university administration to host the events of the Day of Wellness, which aims to enhance mental welfare throughout the campus. These events provide students with resources and activities and access to mental health professionals to encourage a culture of wellness within our academic society.
By giving priority to mental health initiatives, we aim to create a supportive environment as students feel hearing and appreciated and equipped to move in the challenges of teaching graduate studies.

What does driving mean to you?
Driving, for me, is the ability to inspire and empower others and raise them while promoting a culture of excellence, service and integrity. It is related to being insight not only the training course, but also cooperatively to achieve meaningful progress. Real leadership requires the ability to adapt, accountable, and courage to make difficult decisions while continuing to adhere to the greatest good.
As a leader, I believe in the leadership of the servant; It leads with humility, purpose, and heart to others. It is related to creating opportunities, calling for those in need, and leaving a permanent effect that benefits both generations and future generations
