Bernie Sanders And several other known figures in Los Angeles on April 12 as part of their oligarchy of struggle: where we are from tour, which aims to talk about economic injustice and corporate greed. Occasio-Cortez and Sanders will join a training of musicians that includes Neil Young, Joan Baez and Maggie Rogers, Variety reported. Other performers scheduled for the rally include Indigo de Souza, Jeff Rosenstock, The Red Pears and Raise Gospel Choir.

Sanders and occasion-Cortez have already appeared in Las Vegas and Denver, as well as in the cities of Arizona de Tempe and Tucson. The duo has also visited other cities during the tour. Next stops include Bakersfield, California; Salt Lake City; Nampa, Idaho; And Missoula, Montana.
The Oligarchy Fighting Tour is mainly aimed at republican regions, but also appears in liberal cities like Los Angeles.
“The North -American people, whether Democrats, Republicans or Independents, do not want billionaires to control our government or buy our elections,” Sanders said, according to Variety. “They don’t want Republicans to decide Social Security and the administration of veterans.”
Sanders added that he and his colleagues defend people who are tired of tax reductions for the rich when they are paid “for massive cuts to Medicaid and other programs that trust working families.”
“That is why I will visit Republican districts throughout the western United States,” Sanders said. “When we are organized and fight, we can defeat the oligarchy.”
