Howard University School of Education has a one-year transformative impact on education leadership educationUrban Superintendents Academy. The celebration of this stage emphasizes the 10th anniversary of the 10-year-old dynamic, capital-oriented leaders who form the future of urban education.
In partnershipSchool Superintents Union and the University of Southern CaliforniaUrban Superintendents Academy is a nine-month-old cohort based leadership program. Designed for desired educators, the academy plays a key role in the development of leaders to serve the nation’s rapidly expanding city school districts. The program that solves the differences in the educational leadership, cultivates a variety of super managers equipped to meet the problems of large, multicultural student populations.
Since its inception, the Academy has grown a large number of educational specialists, many have begun to serve as heads in major urban areas across the country. The program has been instructed to increase the representation of the education management, and only 10% of the gaps in an area are colored people.

Celebration of the anniversary
The 10th anniversary event was a favorable event, the past and present participants, faculties and educational leaders brought together to remember the success of the academy. The event is reflected in the panel discussions, key addresses and the deep impact of the program.
