INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — As central Indiana gets ready for a new wave of economic growth, Indianapolis leaders and community advocates are turning their focus toward equity in entrepreneurship.
The Indianapolis Reporter Newspaper is preparing to host the Black Business Town Hall from 6-8 p.m. April 17 at Martin University. It’s aimed at addressing racial disparities in business ownership and expanding opportunities for Black entrepreneurs.
Emil Ekiyor, CEO of the InnoPower entrepreneurship organization and a contributor to WISH-TV, joined News 8 for a conversation on the issue. He will be one of the panelists for the event.
Organizers hope the event will spark dialogue and foster partnerships.
