“Chris and I talk about it much before,” he said. “And there have been some personal experiences in the group of people who discussed it, so we definitely wanted to ensure -we were telling this story in a way that felt really true and in the right way, which is always difficult to do -but I hope people think we did it. It was definitely a really important thing for us who thought a lot and talking a lot.”
Sklen when acting in a confined space
Sklen, whose character spends almost the entire movie sitting in Violet, said that Marc created a unique creative challenge.
“It was an interesting type of exercise,” he told us. “I was honestly, beyond working with Meghan, and I have always loved Chris’s films. I am a great fan of the horror genre and the thriller genre in general, but taking it -of the interpreted aspect, a lot of fun exercise and a small challenge that I really liked.
He continued: “I only look at my face for 70 pages sitting at this table and finding ways to have a touch that, in a way that felt interesting and propelled the plot without being controversial and unmotivated. Everything must be motivated, so I really liked only one technical aspect.”
