FLINT, Mich. – Z92.7 recently celebrated 45 years on the air by hosting the Black Love Business Expo at the Flint Farmers’ Market.
The free event featured music from DJ Chef Nate, karaoke hosted by Marlowe the Entertainer and 168 Crab & Karaoke as well as a mixology demo from Drinks of Essence.
“It feels so amazing to be able to be here in the community, still broadcasting WDZZ for 45 years. and we wouldn’t be able to do it without the community. and that’s why we’re giving back today,” said August Wallace, the operations manager & program director of Z92.7.
In addition to highlighting black owned businesses, the event also highlighted community resources.
