Bobby’s journey includes playing university basketball as a member of the 2007 NCAA Section II National Championship Barton College Bulldogs and mentoring of young men and women on life to athletics in university. Bobby is a nationally recognized leader in blacks in technology and holds the role of president of the award-winning blacks in the Technology Raleigh-Durham Chapter, winners of the organization’s 2023 impact award. Bobby has deeply dedicated to the empowerment of black professionals in the technical sector through mentoring, consultation and promoting valuable community and corporate partnerships.
He also shares his insights on prominent technical podcasts and speaks at some of the largest technical conferences in the country. Bobby has recently been to the Power 50’s Top Black Creators on LinkedInA peer-tuned platform that recognizes the best and brightest black creators on LinkedIn.
Bobby actively contributes to organizations such as the North -Carolina Technology Associationwhere he serves on the board of advisers. As a new writer, Bobby is scheduled to release his very first book in the summer of 2024, an honest and candid narrative that addresses the most common pitfalls of job seekers, while providing honest and candid insights into the contemporary corporate labor market.
