Faculty position to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.
The Department of Informatics and Engineering Systems at the University of South Carolina Upstate invites applications for a tenure track, 9-month assistant professor of Industrial Engineering with a start date of August 16, 2026. The selected candidate will teach a wide variety of Industrial Engineering courses, develop a productive research agenda, advise students, serve on university committees, and actively support unit initiatives. The department seeks a dynamic, motivated individual dedicated to excellence in teaching and student success.

Required Education and Experience:
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial Engineering or closely-related field is required by the start date of August 15, 2026. A successful background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching at the undergraduate level (adjunct teaching and teaching assistantships are acceptable).
