Militarize On Sunday, Trenton Boykin announced the immediate relief of Trenton Boykin’s football coach.
“It’s always difficult to make a change, especially when it comes to dedicated professionals and student-athletes,” Hampton athlete Anthony D. Henderson said in a statement released by the university. “Our commitment remains unwavering to ensure Hampton football reaches the highest standards of excellence. We want to thank Coach Boykin for his dedication and leadership and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
Boykin took over on an interim basis following the departure of Robert Underey prior to the 2024 season.
The Pirates went 5-7 that year (2-6 in Coastal Athletic Association play, 2-6 (2-6 in Coastal Athletic Association play) as the team went 2-10 overall and did not win the CAA singles).
