Adidas Original and Gramling State University Announce a powerful collaboration that brings the Grammy-nominated hitmaker GlorillaGrampline State University The world famous Tiger Marching Bandand and Orchis Dance Company Together at the SAESARS Superdome on November 29, 2025 for an unforgettable half term. This moment marks HBCU excellence, creative collaboration and Adidas’ continued investment in institutions that are shaping the future of sports and culture.
The performance combines music, movement and tradition on one of the grandest stages of black college culture. Multi-Platinum Powerhouse artist, Glorilla – fresh off the success of her debut album Glorious And his sold-out 2025 tour will share the spotlight with Grampling State’s legendary performing arts programs, creating a cultural crescendo that honors HBCU heritage as it moves forward.
Orda Orchos and Grambling Alumna J’Aime Griffith created custom costumes for Adidas’ La WRKSHP, a dance company that foregrounds creativity, craftsmanship and cultural influence.
“The Bayou Classic is a huge moment for HBCU culture and to perform with Adidas and Grambling State is really special” said Glorilla. “It’s powerful to be on the field with these students, to see them and those who represent their community.”
The performance will showcase the signature precision and artistry of the World-renowned Tiger Marching Band and Orchesis Dance Company, which have distinguished themselves for over a century. Bringing the energy of Glorilla and the storytelling tradition of Memphis’ Grambling into conversation, Adidas creates a moment that bridges generations of Black generations.

The historic rivalry between Gravesend State University and Southern University takes place on November 29, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sutherdome at Caesars Palace in New Orleans. The halftime performance will be broadcast nationally on NBC and Peacock.
