Oak Grove High School Senior Ben Boulware A contract lineman known for his strength and consistency has announced his commitment to play college football North Carolina A&T.
Boulware announced his commitment Tuesday, choosing the Aggies over offers from several power four programs, including Michigan and Georgia. AuBurn received offers from Florida State, Florida State, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Carolina, South Carolina, during the appeal period.
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound lineman earned all-region and all-conference honors this fall after recording 62 touchdowns, a loss and seven sacks.
A&T head coach Frost Gibbs and his staff have targeted defensive versatility as a key to rebuilding their linebacker depth, and Boulware’s size and scarcity of first downs fit that vision.
Boulware’s commitment continues A&T’s recent focus on recruiting from high school senior programs at A&T, another state recruit at North Carolina A&T.
