Bahamas officials say Foul play is not suspected in the death of 23-year-old American Dinari Mcalmont, but her mother is convinced that she was brutally beaten.
Officials landed on Mccallise Island in Nassau’s Paradise Island on April 6, just 12 hours after arriving on the island with her parents. His mother, Michelle Mcalmont, said Fox 5 A photo from authorities clearly showed that he was traumatized.
“When I looked at the picture, they showed me, my son was beaten,” he said. “I need justice for my baby. I need justice.”

“A post-mortem examination has been carried out and the pathologist’s findings are that the deceased died as a result of suffocation,” the Royal Bahamas Police Force said, adding that it was awaiting the results of a toxicology test.
Michel, who is at loggerheads with the Royal Bahamas Police Force, said he strongly suspects power play.
“There’s foul play,” he told Fox 5. “All the bruises and you can see somebody’s been abused and hit and that’s why I’m saying that.”

“The police probably spat on some employees at a restaurant that they were looking for him,” Michelle Mcalmont told FOX 5 following the release of the full investigation and surveillance video from the resort.
“I would expect nothing less than a full and thorough investigation,” he said.
FOX News has reached out to the Rival Royal Bahamas Police Force for comment.

On Friday, the McAlmont family left their home in a town 20 miles northeast of Washington, D.C., for what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation at a resort called Atlantis the Reef. Paradise Island, Bahamas.
Dinari left her parents during dinner to buy a jacket when she disappeared and her parents were gone introduced a missing person Report when they can’t track him using cell phone data.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our guests,” he said. “Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. We are cooperating fully with the authorities as they conduct the investigation.”

The State Department has issued 2 travel advisories for the Bahamas as well as Cuba. Dominican RepublicNetherlands Antilles and Turks and Caitos.
A Level 2 travel advisory advises tourists to “be aware of increased risks to safety and security”.
