A Maryland family was devastated after a 23-year-old died while on vacation in the Bahamas.
The family explained Fox 5 DC and Eyewitness News Bahamas Dinari Mcalmont, 23, was found dead off the coast of Nassau, Bahamas on Saturday, April 5, about 12 hours after arriving in the country on Saturday, April 5.
“My son was beaten,” Dinari’s mother, Michelle McMalont, said, according to eyewitness reports, local authorities, which showed a photo of her dead son’s identification.
He added: “Her face was damaged. Her face was damaged. Her teeth (she has a lot of teeth. She had so much pride in her hair. She had so much pride in her hair.
“It says they dropped my son in the sand,” she said. “I need justice for my baby. I need justice.”
The family of 5 plans to stay there for a weekend trip to DC, his hometown of Bowie, MD, on April 4 and on Monday, as local authorities investigate the death.
In the speech, Dinari said that he left his parents to explore the Atlantis resort, staying with his parents during the meal. They said she never got worse until a few hours later when resort staff arrived at her mother’s room to inquire about her whereabouts.

According to FOX 5 DC, Dinari’s parents began searching the property after noticing that the house-sharing service was inactive. Michelle also testified that in the Bahamas she was trying to text her son to find out where he was at the time.
Finally, when they couldn’t find him, they filed a missing person’s report. Just after 1 a.m. Saturday, Dinari’s parents reported a report that their son had allegedly “spit” on someone, the details said, although the witness’ report was clear to him that someone had “spit”.
Resort staff returned to Dinari’s parents’ room to report her death, FOX 5 DC reports.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our guests. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and loved ones of those who have been bereaved at this difficult time. This is an active police investigation.
Royal Bahamas Police Chief Shanta Knowles explained Eyewitness News Bahamas They are waiting for Dinari’s autopsy results before sharing more information about their investigation into the case.
However, the authorities said that they did not classify this case as a murder.
