MAUMELLE, Ark. (KATV) — At the Maumelle Event Center, Blacker the Berry Market is hosted a Black History Month Expo.
Attendees can shop at a variety of Black-owned businesses as well as listen to music from local artists.
The Expo is being held in an effort to expand the support base for Black-owned businesses in the Central Arkansas community.
“We have everything from skincare, haircare, clothing, and jewelry. We have a lot of nonprofits and so much more,” said Delicia Brown, founder of Blacker the Berry Market. “Its a good time and good vibe.”
Brown tells us they hope to have many more similar events throughout the year.
