A tractor-trailer fire on eastbound Interstate 70 through Boone County caused delays for several hours Tuesday.
The Missouri Department of Transportation’s traveler map indicated the fire was reported just before noon near the 119 mile marker in the eastbound lanes.
Traffic was backed up past the Route BB exit and Missouri River Bridge at Rocheport toward Boonville. Drivers were diverted through Boonville’s downtown to U.S. Highway 40.
