Places like Target and Walmart are some of the busiest stores this time of the year and there was no exception in Norfolk. The parking lots were packed as shoppers made their way in to find the best deals.

Small businesses in downtown Norfolk were also having a successful day. The owner of Love and Threads, Jen Fuchtman said the store should break sales numbers compared to last year.
