The three children started crying after being caught for their extreme case of reckless driving.
Three kids in Ohio earned their place on the naughty list after learning how to steal a car from a YouTube video.
Dec. However, the video must not show them how to actually drive during its one-minute lesson, as their escape seems short-lived.
The joy of the trio, led by their 11-year-old driver, came to an abrupt end when they crashed into someone’s house. The crash also sparked a police chase as law enforcement quickly found the kids to teach them about reckless and severely underage driving.
Police arrested three “bad-ass” children aged 8, 11 and 12 when they started screaming for their mothers, begging them not to go to jail. Neighborhood chat shared the clip.
The children immediately relented, wanting to proclaim their innocence despite their obvious intent to cause trouble. However, the police treated them like any other unscrupulous criminals, but said their parents would also receive calls.
“We’ll call the parents in a second,” explained the frustrated police officer. “You’re doing well, thank you for doing it…we’re not going to jail now, you’re going to be arrested.”
Shocked by the audacity of these pugnacious children, they promptly put them in their rightful place in the back seat. While some expressed mild anxiety about their arrest, others agreed they got exactly what they asked for when they decided to steal a car.
One wrote: “Normally, I would have had a different opinion, but it was justified. They’re some mean kids doing it, I hope they learn from it.”
Other commenters agreed, saying the police had warned them about what wwould really happen if they tried this again as adults.
“That 12-year-old kid laughing, it was his idea, definitely not his first, and definitely won’t be his last,” another user wrote. An 11-year-old boy cries his heart out, it could have directly scared him. But thank god they’re safe, but I laughed so hard at her that she’s crying that’s what they get. Officers doing their jobs behaved how they behaved.
However, kids may get more than a slap on the wrist and may not have access to the internet for a while. Although they are released to their parents, the little criminals will face their charges in juvenile court.
