LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit, the nation’s premier gathering of executive women of color, returns to Las Vegas for its 19th annual event from March 5-8.
Alisa Gumbs, Vice President and Deputy Chief Content Officer of Black Enterprise, said the summit is expected to draw 1,800 women from Fortune 1000 companies and across the country.
The event will feature two full days of professional development, one-on-one career and financial coaching, and exclusive networking opportunities. Attendees will engage in discussions on topics such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), leadership skills, building workplace relationships, professional branding, artificial intelligence, workplace trauma, gender bias, and the pay gap.
Speakers at the summit include former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, best-selling author and Peloton instructor Tunde Oyeneyin, Emmy award-winning journalists Jemele Hill and Abby Phillip, and political powerhouse Valerie Jarrett.
The summit will also honor Broadway legend Melba Moore, the incoming President and Chief Operating/Financial Officer of Salesforce, Robin L. Washington, American Express’s first-ever Chief Partner Officer, Glenda McNeal, and Monique Rodriguez, founder of the fastest-growing natural haircare brand.
