What happened in this family dollar in Houston?
Deon “Chico” Young visited the variety store store to collect some items. While waiting in the row, he heard a conversation between the cashier and the client in front of him, who spoke Spanish. Unchacied by the staff member, Young understood what the two women said due to their Cuban roots.
On March 14, Young hung a Tiktok video that he recorded himself with the words: “I had to check the cashier in Family Dollar about talking – racist $#!+ on black people in Spanish. “The clip is supposed to be an educational exchange between him and an employee of the family dollar, but since then he has been viral with 120.6K of visions and counts.
The woman can be heard in the background trying to defend the clip before Young begins to speak Spanish. The worker then requested another member of the team because he assumed that Young registered when he was not. He turned his camera to her still to Marc.
How did the incident manage the family dollar?
On March 19, Young shared an update to Tiktok that someone from the Dollar family headquarters contacted him for more information on the disappointing meeting.
“I will say that the corporate people of the dollar of the family have contacted me this morning on the situation and they told me they would take care of the problem,” he told his followers at the video. “And I was trying to tell them that I was not trying to say goodbye to the Lil girl.
