
Figures known in sports and entertainment are expressing their condolences after learning about the death of the legendary boxer and promoter George Foreman. Tyson was narrowed by the legacy of Foreman as he expressed his condolences.
“The condolences to the family of George Foreman. His contribution to boxing and beyond it will never be forgotten,” Tyson said, according to Associated press.
Several sportsmen from other sports also paid tribute.
“Rest in peace, George Foreman. Your legacy continues, champion,” said the sixth NBA champion, Scottie Pippen.
Hall of Famer Magic Johnson also reflected on some of the best memories he had with Foreman.
“I attended so many George’s championship struggles during his career,” Johnson said. “He was a knockout artist in the ring, and it was a pleasure to know him not only as a boxer, but as a man. After leaving the ring, he became an incredible businessman, even bought one of the first George Foreman Grills!”
