PHARRELL WILLIAMS It continues to challenge all odds in various media, including fashion, cinema and beyond.
Recently, the Virginia Native contributions to society were recognized during the 37th annual Morehouse College Gala “A Candle in the Dark”, where he was honored with the Candle in Arts and Entertainment Award.
In front of the event, Williams appeared at the High Museum of Art for a special conversation to support his latest effort, All day I dream of sport (Adidas)A film directed by Williams and director Gabriel Moses, which serves as a “visual love letter to the culture of West Africa, which was in the daily experience of life in Senegal”, by description.

I reduce myself to the room when I am with the talent because I want talent to be talent. My job is to be a mirror for their blind points and show them the things that they have never seen before or that they have overlooked their voice or different parts of the way they write in terms of perspective and angle.
“My job is, well, you know, for example, Beyoncé, well, never … This is not good because he really uses all parts of his voice, but I’m just imagining someone who only sings in a space and never explores the rest of his voice,” he continued. “My job is to say,” Hey, try. Whitner has found a way to integrate luxury detail with cultural narratives and social impacts.
