“Many people, their first experiences with seafood were in a red lobster,” said Adamolekun CBS News.
Adamolekun became CEO in September 2024
He was appointed new CEO of the company in September, after closing more than a dozen locations after the brand appeared in bankruptcy in early 2024. According to Nuggery And CBS News, there are currently 544 red lobster locations throughout the United States and Canada.
Adamolekun, a 36-year-old Ivy League graduate, born in Nigeria, reached a milestone, becoming the youngest CEO to run the company in its almost 60 years of history. He successfully directed the bankruptcy company and is now focused on driving customer visits.

The Red Lobster touched the NBA player withdrawn Blake Griffin for his latest advertisement to increase consumer traffic and maintain the benefits.
“You know, the crisis, forces you to move quickly, make decisions and you can’t take too much time as if I’m ready or I’m not,” said Adamolekun, according to CBS News. “I think there is always a way to make something work, just find the solution.”
Red Lobster, a favorite of long -term fanatics, is known for his steaks, seafood dishes and delicious Cheddar Bay cookies. Although customers also enjoyed the popular shrimp promotion of everything you can eat, Adamolekun said that he eliminated it because it was an “expensive product” and “the way to do it was not managed.”
Some of the changes include replacing some of the menu items for a long time with new ones. Adamolekun also confirmed that although a higher cost over time, they should not throw consumers’ pockets.
“The entire cost structure will increase a bit and prices in the country will increase a bit, but I don’t want to be higher than global inflation,” he said.
In addition to improving gastronomic experiences, Adamolekun aims to attract a younger audience.
“What people, especially young people, need in addition to fantastic food is a great atmosphere,” said Adamolekun. “The place where you can go in, feel -you look good. So if you are not up to date with what they expect, they will not go back. They will go elsewhere or they will eat at home.”
