The first eight episodes of season 1 see Antoinette trying to put in their role as a lieutenant governor, a role that soon discovers is a more important role … But is it? While trying to fight the establishment and the (allegedly) Republican governor who already has everything he put in, he soon learns that he really has more power than he thinks.

In the first episode, Antoinette is surprisingly elected governor of the lieutenant. She is elected to the office after a video of her viral on the day of the election. After her daughter, Lola, hits and goes to a party, Antoinette presents himself to the party to bring her back home. When Lola’s boyfriend stands with her and says she will come to live with him, she sinks her on her face. The party’s attendees recorded the incident and went viral.
