The double -killed trial for rapper Merry has been postponed. The trial was scheduled for September but MoldyThe 4th District Appeal has decided to delay the case until January 2027, Nbc miami reported.
Ynw Meely, legally known as Jamell Dimoners, faces charges after allegedly firing and killing two of his friends, Anthony “Ynw Sakchaser” Williams and Christopher “Ynw Juvy” Thomas Jr., in 2018.

The rapper, which has been in preventive detention since 2019, faces the possibility of death penalty if it is guilty.
The jury did not come to a verdict for the first YNW Melly trial in 2023, with which an error occurred. The 2023 trial was initially scheduled by 2022, but was delayed due to a dispute over whether or not Mlay could face the death penalty.

Melly’s defense also requested a fair trial for the rapper.
