At a specific general party on June 7, 2025 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Eser Watson Digz, Capa Alpha Fratenity, Inc. By revealing a mural and historical mark honoring the man who was necessary to establish the organization for more than a century.
The event will be celebrated by Hopkinsville/Fort Campell Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, and the event will celebrate the legacy of the founder Elder Watson Diggs as a teacher, military officer and co -founder of one of the most historically black brothers in the country. Diggs was born in Christian County, Kentucky, and later became one of ten men who founded Kapa Alpha PSI in 1911 while studying at Indiana University.

“This event is a great opportunity to honor the permanent Eder Watson Digz’s legacy,” said David Davorport, Polemarch from the Hopkinsville/Fort Campell graduates in A. press release. “His contributions to education and leadership and the establishment of the Kapa alpha PSI had a profound impact on countless individuals and societies.”
The ceremony, which will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the field of founders on West IX Street, will include notes from Grand Polemarch and the great historian, in addition to the official disclosure of the mural and historical brand by brother’s leaders from both national and local levels.

In addition to his role in establishing brotherhood, Diggs served in World War I and worked as a teacher and director. His vision of Kappa Alpha Psi was the construction of the Malateen Brotherhood with academic excellence, leadership and service. After more than a century, Kappa Alpha Psi includes more than 150,000 members, 700 university semesters and graduates across the United States and internationally.
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers encourage brotherhood members, community leaders and local residents to attend and celebrate a historical personality whose influence continues to resonate.
