What is the biggest thing you learned as SGA president so far?
As SGA president, the most important lesson you learned is flexibility. Leadership often includes facing unexpected challenges, whether they are transferring different opinions, crisis management, or simply dealing with the weight of responsibility. Over time, I learned that flexibility is not only related to reference from setbacks, but about staying on focusing on my goals and pushing forward even when things do not go as planned. Every obstacle has taught me the value of patience, the ability to adapt and persevere. This flexibility also helped me with calm and authorship, ensuring that I can direct my team and the student through difficult situations with confidence and clarity.
In this role, what really means serving others. The leadership is not related to power, but to call for others, fill gaps, and strengthen a supportive and comprehensive environment. I have seen directly how important it is to listen to the various views of different age groups on the campus and work to create solutions that benefit everyone. Whether it is through planning events, addressing concerns, or creating dialogue platforms, I learned that effective leadership is rooted in sympathy, cooperation and real desire to improve the collective experience of my colleagues. In the end, it is about you is a voice for others and make sure that every student feels appreciated and heard.
What made you decide to attend Alcorn State University for university students?
Alcorne State University has always provided me with a feeling of home and family. I am proud to attend the first black grant institute. Alcorn’s culture is rooted in the family and society, and since my first visit, I knew it would be a place that I can confirm not only professionally but personally.

How did Alcorn State formed the person you are today?
Alcorne State University has formed a strong woman who is not afraid to chase after her dreams and goals, regardless of the difficulty of achieving her. The rift that replaces me academically, but also social and spiritual. I have met many indigenous people of all ages and backgrounds who nurtured and bored and helped me with the prosperity of the woman I am now.
What are the specific initiatives that you went to this year (or planning), and how do you think it will improve the school and the surrounding community?
My administration platform means achieving, rebuilding, innovation and success. We strive to do this on the campus through:
Awareness of mental health on campus
Organizing workshops and seminars on various mental health topics such as stress management, mind, self -care practices, and confrontation strategies.
Raise the student’s participation
Cooperation with student organizations, academic departments, local companies and community groups to participate in hosting events and benefiting from their resources, networks and expertise.
Job readiness
Hosting interactive workshops, panel discussions, questions and answers that include speakers of guests, graduates and experts on topics related to students’ interests and aspirations of the profession. Encouraging active participation opportunities and communication.
Campus safety
Implementation and maintaining strong security measures such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and good lighting paths. Increased presence of university campus security personnel, especially during the high times at the present time and at night.
These initiatives are the sixty -sixth dynamic management center at Alcorn State University.

How does your SGA management/school currently attend the mental health of students?
My SGA administration is currently attending the mental health of students on campus by hosting monthly mental health events, weekly chapel services, and constantly promoting our campus resources such as hotline and consulting services.
What does driving mean to you?
You have faced many challenges while working in leadership positions, as you are a leader who does not exempt from problems, but rather pushes them to the forefront of them. You have pushed me the experience of many problems in leadership roles and helped me learn different lessons that one cannot lead on its own and that teamwork is necessary to accomplish all the tasks. Learning the strength of work together and cooperating with others is what is around me the real leadership for me.

We are now living in a digital world, what do you think of schools that you should do to represent themselves online in 2025?
Although the advanced schools in the digital world should represent themselves by displaying our true experiences that we face on the campus, raising the voices of our students, and highlighting our talents. Also educated by others about what is going on HBCUS as well as a tool to defend our rights.
Why do you think watching the courtyard is important for black students and the culture of the kidney?
Watch It also provides an insight into young people about what is around university life as African Americans. Often, our society does not have the ideal platforms for promotion, representing ourselves and feeling as if this platform is the ideal representation that we need.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
My dream has always had a meaningful impact on the small society that I came from in the Mississippi state, and I plan to do this by attending the Faculty of Law and joining 2 % of black women in law after graduating from Alcorn State University.
We would like to praise Christian Bryant for her work as President of the State of Alcorn State at SGA.
